About Course
The course Intelligence and Profession integrates the study of thinking and mental orientation with vocational and professional analysis in Huber Astrological Psychology. It first defines intelligence as the ability to understand globally and make appropriate choices, distinguishing it from thinking as a function of the mental body. The course examines planets linked to intelligence, highlighting Saturn as memory, Mercury as the capacity to combine and transmit information, and Jupiter as sensory perception and value-based assessment. It also introduces planetary configurations and archetypes of intelligence, and uses the aspect structure—together with its colors—to recognize thinking styles, levels of complexity, specialization, and integration.
The second part applies these principles to professional life, clarifying the difference between profession and vocation and showing how signs and houses reflect the tension between inherited disposition and environmental conditioning. The Earth-house trilogy (2–6–10) is presented as the foundation of work and profession: what I have, what is demanded of me, and what I feel called to do. Finally, the course provides practical indicators to assess professional direction: the crosses of the main axes, aspect structure (dynamic vs. static), emphasized planetary combinations, the Moon in the right hemisphere (contact professions), and verticality as a marker of individuation through profession.
